Festive joy with Piffaro
A child is born! Tenet and Piffaro join forces to share Christmas music from 17th-century Germany (think “Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming”). Come be amazed by Piffaro’s dazzling array of festive instruments, including shawms, recorders, sackbuts, lutes, and percussion. Tenet's vocalists will join these special instruments to create a dazzling sound world.

Get To Know The Music
Find the spirit of the season through sweet carols that inspire nostalgia. Praetorius’ “Est ist ein Ros” performed here by celebrated bass-baritone Jonathan Woody, sparks joy and warm memories for us, and we hope it will for you too. Praetorius’ music is also known for being grand as in “Wie schön leuchtet” and “Singet und Klinget” with dazzling brass, strings, lutes, and chamber organ.
