Adrienne Hyde is an arts administrator, music educator, and historical performance specialist whose professional work centers on advancing equity and opportunity within classical music. A versatile performer, she holds degrees in Baroque Cello & Viola da Gamba from the Juilliard School. Adrienne specializes in historical performance practices on the baroque cello, bass & treble viol, lirone, and bass violin, and collaborates regularly with ensembles including Vox Luminis, Trinity Baroque Orchestra, Early Music Vancouver, Seattle Bach Festival, Haymarket Opera, Aston Magna, and Atlanta Baroque.
In addition to her performing career, Adrienne is deeply committed to arts advocacy, education, and community building. She previously served as Artistic Administrator for the Valissima Institute, a conducting program supporting young women. Her past work has also included coordinating music and enrichment programs for patients in psychiatric and long-term care hospital settings.
Adrienne previously served as Associate Director of Education & Community Engagement at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, overseeing educational programming, youth orchestras, and community residencies. She currently works in Booking & Artist Management at Young Concert Artists, supporting the careers of emerging artists. Outside of work, she enjoys Olympic weightlifting, dedicated bagel research, and occasionally leaving the house even when it’s cold.
