Adriana Ruiz
Adriana Ruiz is a Cuban soprano specializing in early music performance. She began her musical journey with piano studies at the age of seven, later pursuing voice and choral conducting at the Conservatorio Esteban Salas in Santiago de Cuba. Early in her career, she joined Orfeón Santiago—Cuba’s esteemed choral ensemble led by composer and pedagogue Electo Silva—touring internationally and recording as a featured soloist across Spain, France, and the Caribbean. Since relocating to the United States, Adriana has performed with leading early music ensembles including Apollo’s Fire and Seraphic Fire. In 2018, she was named an Emerging Artist by Early Music America, and in 2024, she made her debut at the Boston Early Music Festival with the Latin-Baroque ensemble Rumbarroco.
