Teryn Kuzma

Ukrainian-American soprano and bandurist Teryn Kuzma (she/her) is a versatile performer of classical, contemporary, musical theater, and folk repertoire. A New York City-based artist, Teryn’s had the pleasure of performing with On Site Opera, the Ukrainian Contemporary Music Festival, Trinity Church Wall Street, St. Thomas Fifth Avenue Sunday Recital Series, and Yara Arts Group. Last year, she starred in the world premiere of Layale Chaker’s new opera “Ruinous Gods” at Spoleto Festival USA. Teryn is also an instrumentalist on the 55-stringed bandura, and serves as Concertmaster of the Women’s Bandura Ensemble of North America. She’s the founder of the project Bandura for the Future, which raised over $20,000 for two hospitals in Ukraine in March of 2025 through fundraising performances in New York, California and Ukraine.
