TENET joins forces with the Metropolis Ensemble to celebrate the Met museum’s upcoming Versailles exhibition. For the occasion, TENET will perform a concertized version of Charpentier’s Les Plaisirs de Versailles - a divertissement composed for courtly entertainment for King Louis XIV and held in his private apartments at the palace of Versailles in 1682. The program also features a joint performance by both ensembles of a newly commissioned work by Caroline Shaw for the occasion.
